Online pre-registration opens each year January 15 and runs through early spring
Participation is based on a random selection drawing often called a lottery.
First Class Pre-K
Kiddie Garden supports families in accessing the Alabama First Class Pre-K program - a high-quality , voulntary state pre-kindergarten designed to prepare 4-year-olds for success
This program is open to Alabama residents whose child is 4 years old on or before September 1 of the upcomign school year.
To apply click the button below; There is no registration fee, no child is denied participation based on income.
Children must be 4 years old by September 1 of the school year being applied for.
Required documents usually include birth certificate, Proof of Alabama residency, and immunization records.
There is no tuition fee for First Class Pre-K; the programis funded by the state.
