Our Mission

At Kiddie Garden, we cultivate a nurturing environment where children, families, and staff grow together in Harmony, guided by Integrity, inspired to be Valiant, and supported through Empowerment. Together, we build a strong foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and community..

Our Curriculum

We view each child as a competent, imaginative, and curious learner.

Using O.W.L. Curriculum we empower children with opportunities to explore their own interests at their own pace and discover their own passions.

Our Environment

We believe a clean, safe, and well-organized space is essential for learning and growth. We take pride in maintaining a spotless environment where children can play, explore, and thrive. Beyond that, we teach kids healthy habits—like washing hands, cleaning up after themselves, and respecting shared spaces—so they carry those good practices home with them too.

Our Staff

Our team is made up of caring, dedicated educators who are passionate about helping children grow. We invest in our staff just as much as we do in our students through ongoing training, attending early childhood conferences, and providing continued learning opportunities.

This commitment ensures our team stays informed, inspired, and equipped to provide the very best care and education every day.

Our Events

We love creating memorable moments for our Kiddie Garden family! Throughout the year, we host a variety of fun and enriching events from holiday celebrations and themed Kiddie Proms (complete with our very own Kiddie Garden King and Queen) to special learning days and community outings.

One of our favorite traditions is participating in the National Peanut Festival Parade with our custom Kiddie Garden float, giving our little ones a chance to shine! These events help build confidence, community, and unforgettable childhood memories.

Our Mascot

Meet Smartie Bee, our friendly and fun mascot who’s always buzzing with encouragement! Smarty Bee helps motivate our little learners to be kind, curious, and confident. Whether it’s sharing with friends or trying something new, Smarty Bee is here to cheer them on every step of the way!

Kiddie Garden is proudly led by sisters Zann Stewart and Nakessia Melton, whose shared passion for early childhood education runs deep. Zann, our CEO and Director, holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and brings over 20 years of experience to the center. Her sister, Nakessia, serves as Assistant Director and also has 20+ years of hands-on experience along with a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential.

With a strong foundation in both education and family values, they’ve created a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. At Kiddie Garden, we’re more than a childcare center — we’re a family helping families grow.
